french producer juliano delivers the next ep, entitled * this must be...*, on his own imprint * that place records*. fourth in line on the label, following on from releases from visitors for reworks, mzkbx (aka sacha mambo) and love comedy, the now berlin-based artist gifts his very first ep to the collection. as a dj, juliano has spent the last 13 years honing his craft - first cutting his teeth holding down a residency at l ambassade, and then going on to play all over france and throughout europe. over a decade of digging and spinning has led juliano to develop a refined palette and a knack for finding tunes that make the dance floor bounce. strongly influenced by us house, * panaugust* is a real dance floor killer with its never ending synth. the more emotional * anthem for a friend* is a real tribute, drawing inspiration from chicago and detroit such as the real mess with its special rhythm & blues vibe. finally, cupid mess brings a touch of japanese mood, evoking images of an early-morning rising sun thanks to the classic juno6 sound. julianos ethos is that music should stay fun - preferring to keep things simple, but always real. watch out for this one.

dark entries digs deeper in to the archives of severed heads, one of the longest surviving bands to emerge from the australian post-punk independent music scene. they began in sydney in 1979, incorporating elements of �industrial� noise-generation, tape cutting & looping and electronic sound synthesis. as the project developed song-structures and vocals were employed in a more-or-less recognizable mutant electro pop style. in 1986 the band released the 12� single �petrol� on nettwerk records. we�ve decided to shed light on the evolution of �petrol� with this ep showcasing four earlier incarnations of what became an instant synth pop classic.

after the big success of the reissue of �mbg ep one�, we are proud to introduce the release of optik �music harmony & rhythm�, another great ep originally released in 1991 under mbg international records. optik is the alias of giorgio canepa and ricky montanari, two of the most talented italian producers from the early 90s italian underground-house movement. in this ep we find two killer deep-house tracks, �music harmony and rhythm� and �illusions�, two great examples of the italo-house touch of the early 90s that we found in a lots of other productions by mbg, don carlos and key tronics ensemble, to name a few plus �illusion� which is also sure an epic track, it was the last disc played at vae victis (misano, italy) and the first disc played at novenove (gradara, italy), two of the most famous italian after hours of the 90 s era. fully re-mastered, dmm cutted, re-pressed & re-released for 2015 in it s original format from the original mastertapes, with the permission & participation of all rights holders with all original mbg label artwork intact.
